Olympic Team followed order of finish except for Mirai Nagasu (3rd in the Ladies event) who was displaced by Ashley Wagner (4th in the Ladies event). --  an ill-advised and game changing decision that will alter the training strategy of athletes for the next Olympic cycle, and now makes the Olympic Games the Association's games, not the athletes.  Nagasu was also snubbed by not being named to the World Team, unlike Denny & Coughlin who were not named to the Olympic Team but were the World Team, and Max Aaron who was not named to the Olympic Team but was the World Team.
